Transit Providers will be able to access information to assist them in accomplishing the following objectives:

• Provide appropriate assistance to these individuals in typical and emergency situations
• Ensure the rights of individuals with disabilities as outlined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
• Properly use lifts to secure wheelchairs on buses
• Incorporate training for drivers, customer service personnel, and station managers into their on-going personnel training protocol.
