Helping People with Developmental Disabilities Utilize Public Transport

In an effort to make improvements in assisting individuals with developmental disabilities to independently access public transportation. Small group training sessions are offered to staff of service agencies. The goal is to train the staff to further assist their consumers to effectively use transportation.

General curriculum created and implemented by project ride staff to teach staff of service agencies and educators how to effectively work with those consumers or students to build a skill set to independently access public transportation.
